Welcome!

Welcome parents/guardians and students of Room 10,

This is a class of 29 students and our teacher is Ms .Givelos. We are off to an amazing start with our team building stem name tags ,social studies, math and so much more. 

Our goal this year is to get class pet to gain responsibility. 

We have also been working to improve our student government which includes 10 roles of Prime Minister, Premier, Messenger, Secretary, Librarian…

Our schedule includes: Morning recess, Afternoon recess and 1 hour of lunch, gym, library, heritage,French (everyday), music and quality time with Ms. Givelos.

In math we are starting off with Number Patterns that include division, multiplication(x), adttion(+), subtraction(-). The grade 5's in social studies are learning about government and that include Federal, Provincial and Municipal. The grade 6's have been learning about global issues including Hurricane Maria/Irma and other natural disasters. We are also going to be learning about child labour. We read this book called Dear Teacher and we were inspired so we wrote our own Dear Teacher letters.We wrote all about us, our summer experiences, and our academic goals for this year.
